TaxAssist Accountants is proud to support the bfa's #womeninfranchising campaign running throughout November.
When it comes to women in business, franchising has long been ahead of the curve.
Some 30% of the UK's 40,000 franchisee businesses are owned and run by women, according to the bfa/NatWest Franchise Survey. That's higher than the rate of female SME ownership across the UK - 18%, according to the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills.
At TaxAssist Accountants 21% of franchisees are female. The majority run their franchise individually, although we also have many married couples, mother and son, father and daughter franchisees and a brother and sister team.
Please read a featurehere on successful female franchisees Ali Redwood, who operates from Bristol.
TaxAssist Accountants Business Development Director Sarah Robertson hosted an interactive workshop as part of the campaign on the 17th November at Stratford Manor in Warwickshire.
