The past few months have been filled with exciting developments, so the best way to experience them myself was to meet in person our TaxAssist Advisors Area Representatives, franchisees, prospective franchisees and the US Advisory Board.

My busy itinerary saw me travelling to Douglasville (Georgia), to meet with Jemel Smith, who has just launched our first TaxAssist Advisors store front; Houston (Texas), where a further two stores are being fitted out by Noman and Asma Ali, and Edison (New Jersey), to meet with franchisee Luisa Nunez.

In New Jersey, I also had the pleasure of meeting TaxAssist Advisors President Aditya Ravipati and the US-based Support team members, Chevoyne Green and Craig Weintraub, who will be based at a new store front operated by Aditya, which will also function as the Support Center in the US.

I also visited Chicago (Illinois) and New York City to meet with the US Advisory Board.

I've been amazed by the energy and enthusiasm towards the TaxAssist Advisors brand, model and concept everywhere I visited. TaxAssist has been so successful, not just for me personally, but for many others across the UK, Ireland and Australia, and it’s fantastic to see first-hand how this is being replicated in the US.

Jemel Smith’s store front in Douglasville, is now open and looks incredible. It’s in a great location and he’s already received a huge number of inquiries and walk-ins.

I’ve found having in-depth meetings with the US team and franchisees incredibly insightful and the feedback I’ve received is that the visits have proven beneficial in terms of sharing of best practice and strategic planning.

Having looked at competitor offerings, I can say the opportunity for TaxAssist Advisors in the US is huge and myself and the support team are looking forward to helping each franchisee to achieve their personal goals for growth.

The TaxAssist Advisors franchise and Area Representative opportunities will appeal to experienced accountants working in industry, full-time tax preparers looking to scale up their business, individuals with a strong financial services or banking background, as well as those who already own an accounting or tax practice they wish to develop as part of a global brand.
