TaxAssist Plus has been developed to create a wider service ecosystem around the Group’s core accounting, tax and advisory offering, giving small business owners access to additional expertise through relationships they already value.

The proposition brings together a panel of nationally recognised specialist providers, selected for their expertise, customer focus and alignment with TaxAssist’s standards. The initial offering includes financial planning, business banking and business finance, with further complementary services expected to be introduced over time.

The launch reflects the Group’s broader strategy of increasing the value it delivers to clients while supporting its network of franchisees with access to high-quality specialist services.

The initial TaxAssist Plus partner panel includes:

  • TaxAssist Plus Financial Planning, delivered through a joint venture with Perspective Financial Group, providing access to financial planning, retirement planning, investments, inheritance tax planning and wealth management services.
  • Tide, providing digital business banking solutions designed specifically for SMEs.
  • White Oak UK, offering business finance and funding solutions to help businesses invest, grow and manage cash flow.

Research undertaken during the development of TaxAssist Plus indicated that clients saw the proposition as a natural extension of the existing TaxAssist relationship, with many valuing the opportunity to access specialist providers through their accountant.

The model has therefore been designed around a clear principle of trusted introductions rather than attempting to provide every service directly. Clients can access specialist expertise while remaining clear about which organisation is delivering each service and where responsibility sits.

This focus on transparency, partner quality and client outcomes is central to the TaxAssist Plus proposition and will continue to shape the development of the service ecosystem.

Daren Moore, Chief Executive Officer of TaxAssist Group, said: "Our clients increasingly want access to a wider range of services through advisers they already trust. TaxAssist Plus allows us to connect clients with carefully selected specialist partners who share our commitment to quality service and customer care.

"By bringing together trusted experts under the TaxAssist Plus proposition, we can help clients access additional services that support their business and personal financial goals, while continuing to benefit from the relationship they have with their local TaxAssist office."

TaxAssist Plus represents an important development in The TaxAssist Group’s long-term strategy to expand the services available to small businesses and their owners.

TaxAssist Plus is a strategic proposition from TaxAssist that connects clients to a carefully selected panel of specialist service providers. The proposition has been designed to complement TaxAssist's existing accounting, tax and advisory services by providing access to additional expertise in areas including financial planning, cash savings, business banking and business finance.
