Ed Coton Shop Opening

As the flourishing practice continues to grow, the team which provides tax and accountancy advice and services to nearly 100 small businesses in the region, has been boosted with the appointment of  an apprentice Liam Wright who is studying for his Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Level 4 qualification at Richard Huish College.

Ed Coton, owner of TaxAssist Accountants in Taunton, said: “We would like to thank the local Mayor, our clients and the small business community who came along to help celebrate our anniversary. The evening was a great success and special thanks go to Ornella Dormer of Taunton-based Ornella-Bianca Patisseries for the delicious celebration cake.

“The past year has seen us go from strength-to-strength and we are delighted to welcome Liam to the team and use our experience to support him through his qualifications. Client feedback so far has been excellent and we are confident he will be a real asset to the team.

“We are already looking to hire another member of staff and welcome new small business clients in the area.”
