Terry Murphy, Director of TaxAssist Accountants, is proud to have launched a successful Buy Local initiative among businesses local to his accounting practice.

Twenty-two campaign bags were handed out with Buy Local window stickers, and several shops have participated with stickers in their window including:

  • Country Pickin's At the Corner
  • Victoria Kebabs
  • Love barber shop
  • DnD Technology Services
  • 2 Love & 2 Honour Bridal wear
  • Deano's Bicycle Repairs

“Feedback from the small businesses who are taking part in the campaign has been very positive, and they have welcomed having the stickers up in their windows,” said Terry.

“If we can educate consumers on the benefits of Buy Local – such as keeping dollars in the community – momentum will build and drive growth and sustainability. By making local purchases and supporting small businesses, people can make a direct investment in their community’s future.”

Local MP Dr David Gillespie, well-known for supporting all small businesses in his area of the Division of Lyne in New South Wales, helped to launch the campaign, and was pleased to introduce two of the newest TaxAssist Accountants, Yuvraj Verma and Vishal Patel, who operate from Blacktown in Sydney, to the team at Country Pickin’s At The Corner.
