It was 1999 when James Mattam joined the then fledgling TaxAssist Accountants franchise as part of a team of just four staff and a network of 65 franchisees.
Sarah Robertson joined the TaxAssist Group as a director in 2004, following the successful sale of her own advertising brand and creative business.
James said: “The last 25 years has brought about huge changes. What has been a constant is the sense of pride I have in our ever-evolving brand, and how well we have adapted and enhanced our support to our network of accountants and their clients over this time.
“It’s been an honour to be a director for such a forward thinking and supportive employer and with many exciting plans for the future, I’m very much looking forward to driving further growth and expansion over the coming years.”
Sarah said: “It’s been hugely enjoyable and rewarding to see how well the network has performed and grown over the last 20 years. I’m so proud of what the network has achieved and the initiatives and efficiencies we have rolled out in this time.”

“Both James and Sarah have exemplified expertise, loyalty and dedication. Over the years they have been invaluable pillars of support and care within our network. Their deep knowledge of our business and belief in the TaxAssist model has made a significant contribution to our success and has earnt the respect and admiration of staff, colleagues and franchisees alike.”
