Dorian joined The TaxAssist Group on 1 March 2025 and will provide strategic guidance and advice to the executive team as the Group continues to pursue its long-term growth ambitions.

He brings extensive experience in franchising, business development and acquisitions, having spent 14 years as Chief Executive Officer of Belvoir Group PLC.

During his tenure, Dorian led the business through its flotation on the London Stock Exchange and oversaw its development from a lettings-focused business into a broader group with interests spanning financial services, property sales and other complementary revenue streams. The business grew to operate from 487 multi-branded locations across the UK.

Dorian also led an ambitious acquisition strategy during his time at Belvoir. Alongside his team, he completed 12 corporate acquisitions, helping to increase revenues almost ten-fold. These included the acquisition of six competing franchisors and six complementary financial services businesses.

He was also responsible for developing Belvoir Group's in-house Assisted Acquisition Programme, which identified and facilitated expansion opportunities for franchisees. The programme supported the completion of more than 140 franchisee-led acquisitions.

An experienced franchise professional, Dorian holds the British Franchise Association's Qualified Franchise Professional status and also serves as an Advisor to the Board of a regional house builder and construction company.

Speaking of his appointment, Dorian said: “I am thrilled to be joining The TaxAssist Group as it continues to accelerate its growth plans. The TaxAssist Group has a very exciting future, and in my opinion is a business that is really going places, delivering exceptional support to franchisees, with a highly skilled and motivated workforce. It is a real joy to be involved in the next stage of what I am sure will be a very exciting journey.”

Daren Moore, TaxAssist Group CEO, said: “It is a pleasure to welcome Dorian to The TaxAssist Group. He comes to us with a skill set that closely aligns with our own ambitious strategic plans. He understands firsthand the challenges of building a franchise business, supporting acquisition projects, establishing a successful financial services business and taking it through an IPO onto the AIM market. Dorian’s record in the franchising industry of developing and scaling businesses is second to none, and his wealth of experience will be hugely valuable to our Board and the wider TaxAssist network.”

Dorian's appointment adds further experience to The TaxAssist Group Board as the business continues to develop its franchise network, complementary services and wider strategic growth plans.
