In this newly created strategic role, Katie will lead and oversee key TaxAssist Group-wide initiatives spanning the franchise network, enhanced services for both franchisees and clients and Group-owned practices. Her leadership will play a pivotal role in delivering transformative projects that support the ongoing evolution of TaxAssist’s service proposition and operational excellence across markets.

Katie brings extensive experience from both accountancy practice and software-driven businesses. An accountant by training, she has held a number of senior positions across accountancy technology and software organisations.

Prior to joining The TaxAssist Group, Katie was Head of Customer Success at Dext, where she played a central role in developing and managing customer success strategies for accounting and bookkeeping firms across the UK and internationally.

Before moving into the software sector, Katie spent more than a decade working in practice-focused roles supporting small business development and digital transformation. Her experience included helping businesses navigate significant changes in technology and compliance, including Making Tax Digital for VAT and the transition to cloud-based services.

Her deep experience in practice consulting and customer success, combined with a strong track record of steering digital and operational projects in high-growth environments, makes her uniquely suited to this role.

Daren Moore, CEO of The TaxAssist Group, said: “The role of Director of Group Operations is a new and important addition to our leadership team. It has been created to help us resource and deliver a number of critical, high-impact projects we plan to roll out this year.

“These projects represent a significant step forward in how we support our franchise networks, enhance services for clients, build strong external commercial relationships, and promote our brand. We are thrilled to welcome Katie and look forward to working with her as we drive these initiatives forward.”

Katie's appointment represents a further investment in The TaxAssist Group's leadership and strategic execution capability as the business continues to develop its franchise network, complementary services and portfolio of Group-owned practices.
