Having recently launched in the US and recruited the first Franchisees and Area Representatives in New Jersey, Atlanta and Texas, TaxAssist Advisors is now looking for three new staff members to join its New Jersey Support Center team.

David Paulson, Senior Vice President, Franchise Development, said: “With the TaxAssist network fast expanding, and with a good pipeline of interested parties, we are now looking for experienced tax and accounting specialists to support the initial training of franchisees, as well as ongoing desktop support to the network.

“We are also looking to recruit a marketing assistant, to provide local marketing support to franchisees in the US, with support from the experienced TaxAssist Group Business Development and Marketing teams in the UK.”

The Senior Tax Analyst will respond to tax and software queries from franchisees, deliver training, provide support to a diverse range of clients on Federal, state and local taxes, sales, and use taxation for Partnerships, Corporates and Individuals, among other responsibilities. 2 - 4 years’ experience in Federal, state and local indirect tax will be required as well as a bachelor’s degree in accounting finance or other related field. The Senior Accountant role will require the successful candidate to assist franchisees with accounting, bookkeeping, software and payroll enquiries, deliver training and prepare budgets and financial statements, among other responsibilities. 2-4 years’ experience in accounting, bookkeeping and payroll and CPA certification or Enrolled Agent, or other appropriate certification a plus. The Marketing Assistant will handle calls from clients and provide general marketing and administration support, including posting regular content to social media channels, creating newsletters and managing business listings. 1-2 years’ experience in marketing or customer service is preferable and excellent people skills is a must.
