After spending more than a decade working in finance and accounting within the NHS and in industry, chartered management accountant Kully Sahota decided it was time to work for himself. After seeing growing numbers of new businesses starting up and speaking to businesses in Quinton, Edgbaston, Harborne, the Jewellery Quarter and Digbeth, Kully realised that there was a need for a service specifically tailored to small businesses, to guide new start-ups and provide ongoing support to existing businesses. He commented:
