On 21st September, TaxAssist Accountants Rugby held an official launch party, welcoming clients, business contacts, family and friends to see the shop and meet the team who are based there.

Lord Mayor of Rugby, Councillor Maggie O’Rourke, was invited along as a special guest to cut the ribbon.

“Many thanks to everyone who came along to our launch event, it really was a very enjoyable occasion,” said Mike. “We’ve been open a few weeks now, and we’re really delighted by the positive response to the shop so far.

“It’s certainly generated a buzz among our local community, as people can pop in to enquire about our services. My team can help with everything from self-assessment tax returns, year-end accounts, payroll to bookkeeping. We can also offer help with applying for research and development tax credits, advice for starting and growing a business and assisting with business planning and cash flow management.

“Anyone interested in finding out more about our services can contact us for a free initial consultation. Give the team a call on 01788 574440 or visit our website www.taxassist.co.uk/rugby.”

TaxAssist Accountants Rugby was originally set up by John Barr in 2001. He handed over the reins to Mike in 2022 but continues to work in the practice, alongside three members of staff, who collectively look after 300 clients.
