Badi Ceren and Michael Harrison launched TaxAssist Accountants on 256 Smith Street in Collingwood in May 2019. Keen to establish themselves in their local area and meet with other business professionals they have been hosting BNI discovery sessions since January 2020 to promote the launch of the ‘Brunswick and Carlton Chapters’ in their local area.

Badi comments, “The BNI aims to provide a positive, supportive and structured environment for the development and exchange of quality business referrals. Something I’m keen to encourage and promote. Think about it as having 25 representatives out in the world, looking for clients on your behalf.

“Michael has taken the Bookkeeper chair for the upcoming chapter in Brunswick, which currently has 4 committed applicants and I have taken the Accountant chair within the BNI Carlton, which is schedule to launch in May 2020 and currently has 10 committed applications.

“Both chapters are seeking applicants interested in growing their business through referrals, the link to the FREE event is regularly updated here: events.humanitix.com.au the next discovery session is scheduled for Thursday 26th March 9.30 – 10.30.”

During the sessions, held with morning tea, the attendees are presented with information on how BNI works, how they can benefit from it, the fees, the requirements, etc. Further information can be found in the video here: www.youtube.com
