On 8 June, Verka welcomed clients, business contacts, family and friends to celebrate the grand opening of TaxAssist Accountants in Hertford.
“It was wonderful to see everybody at the event and I’d like to thank everyone who came along, including the Mayor of Hertford, Cllr Alex Daar, who officially cut the ribbon and spoke about the importance of businesses creating more footfall in Hertford, helping to improve the high street,” said Verka. “James Mattam, Group Director of Franchising, also spoke about the thriving business community in Hertford and congratulated us on our professional-looking shopfront.
“It’s been an exciting journey getting to where we are today. I am an accountant who is passionate about providing a proactive service, with a real focus on supporting the local community, and it’s been hugely rewarding to build relationships with clients in the area.”
FCCA-qualified Verka joined the TaxAssist network in September 2025, bringing extensive experience in accountancy, business growth and leadership to the practice.
