Now in its 23rd year, the awards seek to celebrate franchisors that serve as ambassadors for their sectors and that have demonstrated exceptional business practice.

Alison McGinley, Managing Director of TaxAssist Accountants, said: “We are delighted to be nominated for three awards this year. These awards are based on how pleased our network is with the TaxAssist business model and the comprehensive support we provide, which makes them extra special. We’re up against some really well-known brands such as Supermacs, McDonald’s and Fastway couriers, so we know competition will be tough.”

The judging panel for the 2018 Irish Franchise Awards includes Newstalk Business Presenter and former Irish Dragon, Bobby Kerr; Greg Swift, Head of Enterprise at Dublin Local Enterprise Office; and Michael Bradley, former CEO of the Irish Franchise Association.

The Irish Franchise Awards will be presented to the winners at a formal black-tie ceremony at Clontarf Castle on Friday 28th September, hosted by Newstalk’s Jonathan Healy.
