There is a new way to join the TaxAssist Accountants franchise, with the launch of a scheme which offers professional accountants the opportunity to learn practice software, receive full training and technical support, supervision of lodgements and revenue share, as a way to gradually transition to public practice ownership with a Tax Agent Licence.

The new programme runs over a 12-month period and can be completed part or full-time, while you are still employed.

At the end of the 12 months, you would have the option to –

  1. Start your own TaxAssist Accountants franchise

You join TaxAssist as a franchisee, we allocate a franchise area to you and transfer all clients over to your franchised business.

  1. Seek employment with a TaxAssist Accountant Franchise

You will complete the 12-month programme with the technical, software, leads and technical training also provided to the TaxAssist franchisees who own their own business. You will be familiar with the processes and procedures we follow at TaxAssist and therefore would make an invaluable member of staff to any franchisee recruiting. *Note, we cannot guarantee employment upon completion of the programme.

  1. None of the above

We wish you well on your journey wherever that may take you and hope the training and experience you have had with TaxAssist will be useful in your future endeavours. We sign off all supervised experience you have gained which will contribute to your Tax Agent Licence application if you were to apply for this in the future. All clients you have worked on remain clients of TaxAssist Accountants.

The finances

The cost of joining the TaxAssist Academy is $10,500 + GST. This represents a cost-effective way for you to join TaxAssist providing an excellent pathway for you to progress to franchise business ownership with our full guidance and support. The $10,500 is deducted from your full franchise fee if you decide to join our network at the end of the TaxAssist Academy programme.
