The EWiF Awards celebrate and honour the outstanding achievements of women in the UK franchising sector. The Woman Franchise Employee of the Year category recognises an individual who demonstrates outstanding leadership, innovation and commitment to supporting franchisee success.

As Head of Network Development, Samantha has played a key role in driving growth and innovation across the TaxAssist network. Over the past year, she has led the continued development of the TaxAssist Training Academy, while also strengthening franchisee engagement and satisfaction through improved communication, structured feedback and ongoing support.

A recognised subject-matter leader, Samantha has been instrumental in supporting franchisees through Making Tax Digital (MTD), one of the most significant regulatory changes in the profession. From presenting at the 2025 National Conference to delivering a nationwide roadshow, she has provided clear, practical guidance to help franchisees navigate change with confidence.

In addition to her internal leadership role, Samantha is a passionate ambassador for both TaxAssist Accountants and women in franchising. She has represented the business at major industry events including Accountex, where she has also spoken on franchise experience and opportunities within the sector.

“I am truly honoured to be recognised as a finalist in the EWiF Awards,” said Samantha Skyring. “This recognition reflects the hard work and passion that I, along with my incredible team, have invested in supporting our franchise network. It’s an absolute privilege to be included among such inspiring and successful women in the franchising industry.”

Helen Mansfield, organiser of the EWiF Awards, commented, “We were thrilled with the number of entries this year, coming from all over the UK. This is a tough competition judged by experts in franchising. Being named a finalist is a significant achievement, with finalists selected for their business acumen, determination, creativity, and perseverance.”

The EWiF Award ceremony will take place on 20th May in Leicester, where winners will be announced and celebrated.
