TaxAssist Accountants UK, former winner in 2010 of arguably the most important franchising award available, is proud to reveal that it has again won through as a finalist. Karl Sandall CEO of the tax and accountancy franchise comments “we are always tremendously honoured to be recognised by senior figures in the franchising industry and it is testament to our hard work and commitment we put in to running our franchise network, together with the utmost respect we give to our franchisees.  We would also like to congratulate our fellow finalists who also run brilliant businesses.”

Established in 1989 and the highest honours available to brands in the sector, the awards recognise the UK’s most exceptional franchisors in a range of categories for their business growth and development, service excellence and commitment to ethical franchising practice.

TaxAssist are joined in the Franchisor of the Year category by seven other well known franchises.

Finalists will present to a judging panel of industry experts in London on 20 & 21 May, with winners announced at a black-tie dinner on 25 June at the ICC, Birmingham.

Andy Brattesani, UK head of franchising for HSBC, said: “Thanks to the calibre of entries, we’ve arrived at a list of businesses that really highlight the diversity found in modern franchising. The finalists, a strong combination of established and newer franchisors, should be very proud to have been shortlisted for their dedication to exceptional business practices. We look forward to hearing more about their success at the judging.”

Sean Hammond from Express Newspapers added: “These franchisors have demonstrated excellence in business as well as in franchising and their stories should serve as an inspiration. The number of different business sectors represented showcases the opportunities in the sector for expanding businesses and for those looking into self-employment.”
