For Olivia Palios, age has been no barrier to building a large and successful practice. The youngest female franchisee to join the TaxAssist Accountants network at 22, back in 2015, she now looks after over 1,000 clients across Cheshire and Staffordshire along with her team of seven staff.

“I’ve always been a very ambitious person,” explains Olivia. “Having worked for a TaxAssist Accountant before joining the network myself, I saw first-hand how convenient clients found the shops, with a steady stream of walk-ins and referrals from existing clients. This combined with the expert back up from the Support Centre in Norwich, led to my decision to join the franchise.

“The last five years have been great, and I’ve really enjoyed establishing the practice and becoming a part of my local community. I’m looking forward to meeting with my fellow small business owners in Sandbach and would encourage them to contact me for a free initial consultation. We offer a comprehensive tax, accountancy and advisory service and offer a range of software solutions, to help clients select the right package for their needs.

“2020 has been quite a year, but I’m really pleased with the way the team have worked together to handle the increased workload from clients needing help with furlough and grant applications, being efficient throughout – mainly due to our use of technology. We’ve continued to sign up new clients over the phone and face-to-face, albeit socially distanced in the shop.”
