Shane Horsell has opened a new TaxAssist Accountants shop at 11 Bridge Street in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire.

He set up his TaxAssist Accountants practice in 2015 and has enjoyed steady growth over the past four years, looking after 220 small businesses in the area. In response to increasing demand from existing small firms and new businesses starting up, he decided the time was right to open his shop in Nailsworth to support the numerous small, local independent businesses in the area.

“I’ve been on the lookout for highly visible, shopfront premises for some time and Bridge Street in Nailsworth provides the perfect location. I would encourage anyone interested in finding out more about our services to pop in for a free consultation,” said Shane.

An experienced finance director, who is CIMA qualified and also holds an MBA, Shane had over 30 years of accountancy and finance experience across a range of sectors including financial services, software, manufacturing, biotech, communications and security, before he joined TaxAssist Accountants.

“It had always been my intention to have my own practice, but I wanted the support of a quality franchise. I was attracted by, and remain impressed by the professionalism of all the TaxAssist staff and the support structure that is in place to help the network to succeed.”
