TaxAssist Accountants is now running its second US virtual Initial Training Course, having signed up its fourth franchisee Jemel Smith (pictured above).

Jemel graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business/Management from the highly prestigious Boston College, and went on to set up his own firm, Bottom Line Tax Services LLC, which he has owned and operated since 2001. He will now convert this to TaxAssist Accountants.

On his reasons for joining the franchise, Jemel said: “I have been trading successfully, with a core focus on tax advice, but would now like to expand the range of services that I can offer clients to a more year-round offering.

“I can see huge value in the TaxAssist brand, business model and storefront concept, which will allow me to bring on more staff and scale up the practice much more effectively. For anyone interested in finding out more about our services I'd encourage them to contact me for a free initial consultation. Full details can be found on my website www.taxassist.com/douglasville or you can call in at my storefront at 2911 Chapel Hill Road, #225, Douglasville, GA 30135.”

David Paulson, Senior Vice President, Franchise Development, is thrilled to be running back-to-back initial training courses for new franchisees and is very positive for brand expansion in the US.

“It has been fantastic to sign up someone of Jemel’s calibre and we look forward to helping him to build a substantial practice in Atlanta.

“We now have four franchisees and two Area Representatives in the US – a long way short of the 4,000 franchisees we’d like to recruit, but a strong start, with a real focus on quality of franchisees.

“The pipeline of inquiries is strong and crucially we’re excited by the client offering we are bringing to small businesses across America.”

The TaxAssist Accountants franchise and Area Representative opportunities will appeal to experienced accountants working in industry, full-time tax preparers looking to scale up their business, individuals with a strong financial services or banking background, as well as those that already own an accounting or tax practice they wish to develop as part of a global brand.
