"Vanessa, who holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce – Accounting, has been working as an accountant for 4 years, during which she has completed over 700 Individual tax returns, as well as numerous company and trust returns in a public practice. In addition, Vanessa owned and operated her own supermarket business for 12 years, managing all aspects of the business, including financials, BAS, staff management, cash flow, budgeting and marketing planning."
The TaxAssist Training Academy continues to go from strength to strength enabling people who are keen to ultimately work for themselves, to gain practical experience and ‘try before they buy’, which means not having to leave full-time employment.
Once the 12-month Academy training program has been successfully completed, members have the opportunity to work as a contractor for TaxAssist. They will work on their own and TaxAssist clients' work under a mentoring and supervision program, gaining experience and confidence before opening their own TaxAssist Accountants in their local area.
