For those considering investing in a TaxAssist Accountants franchise, there is a new development for ACCA members who have yet to receive a practicing certificate. TaxAssist Accountants requires all franchisees to hold a certificate, and certain limitations would have historically hampered the ability to join our network - but not anymore!
The ICAEW has launched its 'Pathways to Membership' scheme, which allows fully qualified members from certain professional bodies to apply for ICAEW membership.
Benefits include being awarded the certificate based on your experience – there is an 'Examination of Experience' to complete, which you complete in your own time. Successful individuals who join ICAEW through Pathways are entitled to use the ACA designation after their name and are entitled to full ICAEW member benefits.
Their website holds all the information about the scheme, and the steps, once you have successfully passed Pathways and been invited to join ICAEW, that you need to take to become an ICAEW Chartered Accountant and obtain your Practicing Certificate.
This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking to take on a TaxAssist Accountants franchise and don’t want your hard work with the ACCA to go without recognition.
