David and Julia Forrester, West Yorkshire based TaxAssist Accountants have recently won a Keighley Business Award, singled out for their commitment to growth, quality products and customer care.

PRIZES were awarded in 11 different categories with Keighley's North Street-based TaxAssist Accountants winning the award for financial/professional services business of the year, sponsored by Williscroft & Co Solicitors.

TaxAssist also gained a second honourable mention, as its trainee Georgina Burn won the award for apprentice/trainee of the year, sponsored by Keighley Campus Leeds City College.

Husband and wife team David and Julia, who set up TaxAssist Accountants eight years ago said they were delighted with their performance.

Mr Forrester said: "We're really pleased, particularly for our staff and clients. We've had a great night.

We've taken on our 10th member of staff this year, and also gone over the mark of 500 clients."

Ms Burn, a former Holy Family Catholic School pupil, said: "This means so much to me, and it's great to have amazing bosses. When you have bosses who treat you well it motivates you to want to do better."
