Due to the unprecedented upheaval caused by the coronavirus pandemic, TaxAssist Accountants have been working tirelessly to assist their clients with applications for grants, loans, cash flow projections and business continuity plans.

Throughout the crisis, the network of 268 global franchises has received comprehensive support from the highly experience staff at the TaxAssist Accountants’ Support Centre in Norwich who are proud to have received recognition from the CFA.

Among the measures that TaxAssist’s franchisees have benefitted from are a centralised mailing system, with over 1,000,000 emails sent to clients to date, live webinars outlining the latest changes and practical guidance, one-to-one technical and marketing support whenever required and daily communications about the latest Government support packages for business and the self-employed.

Karl Sandall, Group Chief Executive Director, said: “As a franchisor, our primary role is to do everything we can to support our franchisees. This, in turn means they can continue to do what they do best: providing a first-class service to their clients.

“I am always proud of the level of support we provide to our network of accountants, but in these unprecedented times, I have really seen everyone pull together to provide quite exceptional levels of help and guidance. We always value feedback, and it has been fantastic to hear how well our efforts have been received.”

Sherry McNeil, CFA President & CEO, said: “At its core, franchising is about people helping other people achieve their goals through collaboration and mutual support and throughout COVID-19, we have seen franchising’s strength shine brightly through our members.”

“Our members have been working extremely hard to support their franchisees. They have also been extraordinary in helping other companies in CFA community through leadership, sharing of best practices, and organic peer-to-peer mentorship. We congratulate everyone at TaxAssist Accountants for their outstanding performance through recent times.”
