On Friday December 3, three TaxAssist initial training courses concluded, with franchisees from the US, Canada and the UK coming together to attend a virtual certificate presentation ceremony.

This was the second US Initial Training Course (ITC), the first Canadian and the final of four annual UK Initial Training Courses and presented the UK based Support Center team with a unique opportunity to link up the groups.

David Paulson, Senior Vice President, Franchise Development, said: “With our initial training courses running successfully virtually, the combined date worked well to introduce our new franchisees to each other and to show them the full support and back-up which is available via the Global support teams.

“The fourth US TaxAssist franchisee Jemel Smith, based in Douglasville, Atlanta graduated from the US ITC today and I look forward to working closely with him to assist with his growth plans.

“Our first Canadian franchisee Moe Farhat, who will operate from Griesbach in Edmonton also graduated today which is good news for the ongoing growth of the TaxAssist brand and network across North America.”

TaxAssist provides a personalized, six-week initial training course to all new franchisees which encompasses tax, accounting, software, marketing and business development. It fully prepares its franchisees for trading on completion, setting them up to run and grow a successful, efficient practice.

The TaxAssist franchise opportunity will appeal to CPA-experienced accountants working in industry, full-time tax preparers looking to scale up their business, individuals without an accounting background, but with a strong financial services or banking background, as well as those that already own an accounting or tax practice they wish to develop as part of a global brand.
