Phil joined TaxAssist Accountants in 2002 and opened his first shop in Loughborough in 2005.  He later moved to his current, larger premises in Shepshed in 2007.

When Carl joined as a partner in 2012, they were well placed to branch out into a second location and seized the opportunity as soon as the right shop came along.

"I was happy for the business to take on the additional costs of a second shop knowing I had the support of Carl as a business partner", explains Phil. "For Carl this is also an opportunity to share in the experience of opening in a new location".

The deal on an empty shop secured by Phil and Carl was exceptionally attractive and together with bank funding support made for a much lower financial risk.  They are looking forward to positive results and have already had enquiries and met bank contacts in the new location.
