Saher Rizvi is an MAAT-qualified accountant with five years of experience in both practice and industry. She joined TaxAssist Accountants in April 22 and is currently based in an office in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire.
“Before studying accountancy, I had obtained a BSc in Human and Medical Sciences however, I quickly realised that I was not cut out for the medical field so had to self-reflect on what excites/interests me as a career,” said Saher.
“I concluded that I had interest in financing and accounting concepts that are the fundamentals for any business to run on, so I spent the next few years studying and working in accountancy.
“I have always wanted to run my own practice and after learning more of the opportunities to build a business with TaxAssist Accountants, I decided joining the franchise was the right fit for my qualifications, mindset and goals.
“I am familiar with franchising and the benefits it can bring, having previously worked in my family’s successful hotel business.
“I have only had positive interaction with TaxAssist from the discovery day to date. The team at the Support Center have been there for me through all of my initial training and even more so afterwards, when they have always been willing to chat through any questions I have.
“The level of assistance and knowledge that TaxAssist provides to its franchisees sets a strong foundation for a new practice like mine and will help me to grow the business over the years.
