The Buy Local message has never been more important, with small businesses needing all the support they can get following the COVID-19 pandemic. TaxAssist Accountants is keen to champion the cause and Badi and Michael are working hard to push out the message across their shop window, website and social media channels.

Badi explains more about the campaign. “As the lifeblood of the economy, small businesses need all the help they can get right now following a very difficult time. The Buy Local message is key and one which we at TaxAssist Accountants are proud to spearhead.

“Small businesses have shown tremendous energy and innovation in adapting during and post COVID-19 and we must all do what we can to help them in this recovery period. This is because the local business owners you are spending your money with will, in turn, put that money back into the local community by using local suppliers and employing people which all helps to keep the local economy thriving.”

Badi and Michael have visited small businesses in their area and handed out Buy Local Stickers to put in shop windows. “We’ve had great feedback about the campaign” says Badi and we’ve been actively promoting each other’s businesses on social media and leaving online reviews.

“We are very much a hub for small businesses in our area and the help and support we have been able to offer has been very well received and will make a real impact on the survival and recovery of independent businesses across our local area.”
