TaxAssist Accountants provides an initial training course for all new franchisees to enable them to confidently and expertly run and grow a successful practice.

Hal Gross CPA, President, said: “We have two initial training courses planned for 2021, which will commence on July 19th and October 18th.

“We are now able to offer our customized courses virtually, having reworked and adapted all of the content to a five-week course, utilizing different technologies to ensure they run smoothly.

“We have technical training focusing on client’s needs being delivered by a third party specialist. The tax, accounting and software training will be delivered by CCH Axcess, with Practice Management and Marketing training covered by the TaxAssist Support Center. Through this partnership, we are able to ensure that materials are up-to-date, directly relevant for our network and of the highest quality.

By the end of the initial training provided by TaxAssist Accountants, franchisees will know how to:

  • Market themselves, recruit and retain clients
  • Competently complete year-end and monthly/quarterly accounts and tax computations
  • Complete personal income tax returns and various other tax forms
  • Operate bookkeeping software and be able to advise clients
  • Run an efficient office/storefront business with the support of IT, marketing and eventually staff
  • Run and grow a successful business
