Brother and sister team Keith and Katherine Loader opened their doors for business in 1998. They recently celebrated their silver anniversary with staff at their shop at 149 Park Avenue North in Northampton, where they look after the needs of 560 clients.

“I have no idea where the last 25 years have gone,” said Keith.

“We are busier than ever, but we took a few minutes on 3rd September to celebrate in the traditional way – with cake.  Much has changed during my time as a TaxAssist franchisee, but I still have the very first client that signed up, but as a personal tax client rather than a sole trader.

“Taking on the franchise back in September 1998 was the right decision for me and I have absolutely no regrets. I could not have built the practice without the hard work of my staff who I thank for putting up with me!

“If there is one piece of advice I can pass on to other TaxAssist franchisees it is to make sure you look after your smaller clients and they will grow with you.”

Keith and Katherine recently signed up for a further 10 years with TaxAssist Accountants becoming the longest contracted franchisees too, with their agreement running up to 31st July 2033.

If you’re keen to build your own practice, a TaxAssist franchise can provide the systems and support you need to be successful. Regular Discovery Days are being held, where you can find out more about the technical, marketing and business development support on offer.
