TaxAssist Accountants will soon start its second virtual initial training course after onboarding a second franchisee Shegufa Dhanani (pictured above).

Shegufa has had a progressive career in public accounting and consulting for the past fifteen years. Having worked with a wide variety of companies, accounting systems and business challenges, Shegufa is ready to offer tailormade solutions to her TaxAssist clients’ problems.

“I had been thinking about starting my own accounting practice for quite some time now and TaxAssist Accountants checks all the boxes. I am extremely fortunate to have discovered this opportunity,” says Shegufa.

“Having the backup of an established brand name, marketing and technical support team will help me build my client base much faster than I could on my own. I am excited to start my entrepreneurial journey with TaxAssist Accountants.”

Shegufa also brings with her a CPA member to her team.

“TaxAssist’s business model is unique, focuses on the underserved small business segment and allows for scaling up. The storefront concept and all year round marketing and technical support makes it the all-in-one package. I look forward to opening my storefront soon in 2022," adds Shegufa.

John Rogers, VP Franchise Development, Canada, is happy to welcome Shegufa to the Canadian TaxAssist network. “With her intensive accounting and consulting experience, Shegufa is going to be a great asset to the TaxAssist Accountants brand. I am sure she is going to have great success running her own practice and am excited to see it grow. I’m looking forward to working with her as she builds and launches her storefront,” he said.

The TaxAssist Accountants franchise and Area Representative opportunities will appeal to experienced accountants working in industry, full-time tax preparers looking to scale up their business, individuals with a strong financial services or banking background, as well as those that already own an accounting or tax practice they wish to develop as part of a global brand.
